Training for both ¨climbing goats¨ and ¨flat riders¨

Most cyclists may assume that you can mainly climb on the Costa Blanca. From Pedreguer it is not too far for the trained cyclist to visit the Val de Pop (Coll de Rates), Val de Laguar or the Val de Gallinera. Here, the real «climbing goats» can enjoy the beautiful climbs with stunning views over the valleys.

Are you not immediately fond of climbing? But do you still want to enjoy the fantastic nature and nice and flat driving? Even then you are in an excellent place based in Casa La Naranja. From here you drive towards the coast of Denia in the direction of Valencia. Or if you opt for more to the south, you will drive to Javea and Calpe along the coast. Along the way you will pass many orange groves, olive groves or rice fields.

Casa La Naranja

A bed & breakfast led by enthusiastic Dutch owners. With great care and love, they have created a warm and very comfortable B&B at their home. The four rooms all have box-spring beds, bathroom, central heating and air conditioning and a private terrace. From the rooms you can walk straight into the beautifully maintained and pleasant garden. Here you will find many different seats with or without shade, where you can enjoy a drink and chat about the ride of that day. Of course a dip in the magnificent swimming pool is also possible. For groups of cyclists, Casa La Naranje has a covered garage for rental bikes and special bicycle offers. Ask for their possibilities.

Rent a bike

In the Pedreguer region it is slightly more difficult to rent a bicycle that meets the requirements of the trained cyclists. A racing bike that has been perfectly adjusted, has been assembled with Shimano Ultegra and with its 11/32 pinon manages to bring almost everyone home through the mountains.
