Travelling with your bike takes a lot of effort, and money. We believe there are more benefits of renting a bike from us than bringing your own. The question is: rent a road bike in Alfas del Pi Costa Blanca or bring your own bike?

We all know what a pain it can be to pack your bike in a box or a bag for the flight. You spend hours of dismantling and securing your bike. Will it fit in the car to get to the airport? Lugging the heavy box around the airport. Handing it over to somebody who, we think, should handle it a bit more carefully than they do. Oh, and how will I get it to the accommodation…

Rent a road bike in Alfas del Pi Costa Blanca

We let you have a relaxed trip over and have a clean and well-maintained bike waiting for you. You can choose from a selection of high quality road bikes. If you let us know your measurements, we can have it all set-up for you prior to your arrival.

Once you have booked your bike/s, we will send a confirmation to you. You can relax knowing it is all being prepared for you. We deliver the bike/s to your accommodation for free if you stay in or around 12 miles from Benidorm. Outside this area we charge an additional fee to deliver. Contact us for more information about our services. Once you have reached your accommodation, you can get on the road as quickly as possible.

Bring your own bike

Airlines, especially low-cost ones, can charge a large amount to carry your bike. Within Europe in 2019 the costs often vary between 40-80 euros each way. Taking a bike on intercontinental flights will set you back hundreds.

In addition, you will need to buy or rent a bicycle box or bicycle bag. Bags start from around 50 euros but offer little protection. Hard case prices start around 250 euros and offer better protection. Another cost will be transport costs between the airport and your holiday accommodation. If you are renting a car, make sure it is big enough to fit your bike/s. The costs are adding up! Our road bikes cost on average a 145 – 161 euros a week. And you would be looking to spend on getting your bike to your holiday location.

Possible damage to your bike

Even a well packed bike can get damaged during the transfer. Or if something happens to your bike during the holiday, you will need to get it fixed.
