When we hear the name Jan Janssen, most people immediately think of the cyclist who caused a furore in the Tour de France and/or the Tour of Spain in the late 1960s. After his career as a professional rider, he started developing his own racing bikes. The final result is the Jan Janssen Sonic road bike. And of course a number of other bicycles.
The Aitana cycling tour 2022 will be held on June 5, 2022. And as the Spaniards describe it so beautifully; “No es una marcha, es la marcha”. In other words, it is not just any tour, but The Tour. A collaboration between cycling tourism on the Costa Blanca and the well-known cycling hotel Cap Negret in Altea.
In previous blogs we have already discussed some typical Spanish dishes and drinks. Most of these are no longer found only on the Costa Blanca, but also in the rest of Spain. Now we list some typically Spanish customs, which you can take into account during the cycling holiday on the Costa Blanca.
We notice on our Social media like Instagram that we have a lot of followers that are really enthusiastic Triathletes. For that we have been searching for the Agenda for the Triathlon Costa Blanca 2020. As we are in Spain, nothing is confirmed yet. But to give you any idea, the plan is to have several distances on Sunday 12th of April in Benidorm. It´s called the TriWhiteCup.
Travelling with your bike takes a lot of effort, and money. We believe there are more benefits of renting a bike from us than bringing your own. The question is: rent a road bike in Alfas del Pi Costa Blanca or bring your own bike?
