Selling road bikes Costa Blanca

As a rental company of very good quality carbon road bikes in the Benidorm – Calpe region, we naturally want to keep our fleet as up to date as possible. That is why we try to start selling road bikes in the Costa Blanca at the end of every high season.

Sales of road bikes have exploded in the past 3 years. Especially because cycling has grown enormously in popularity in recent years. This is due on the one hand to the infectious results of riders such as Wout van Aert and Mathieu van der Poel, and on the other hand to the period with Covid-19. As a result, people were not allowed to practice team sports and the number of runners and cyclists has increased greatly.

Buying road bikes

Unfortunately, in the last two years it has not been so easy to buy good road bikes. Whether new or second-hand. So many road bikes were sold in 2020 that a shortage quickly arose, especially in Northern Europe. There were also long waiting times for repairs. This is mainly due to the shortage of parts that arose during the Covid situation. Many factories have been closed for a long time and transport to Europe has also been delayed.

However, now that we are a few years later, many people are looking around for a slightly more luxurious version of their road bike. Perhaps one with disc brakes or electronic shifting. Fortunately, we managed to renew and rejuvenate our fleet according to plan. As a serious supplier of road bikes for rental, it is important to be able to offer high quality products. In the first place, the maintenance of the bicycles is of great importance for this. Another way is to replace the bikes after a number of seasons.

All in all, this means that our very well maintained road bikes will now be sold here on the Costa Blanca. We have now been able to sell a large number to our regular customers, who previously always rented from us. From this we can conclude that the quality of our bicycles and the maintenance is highly appreciated. So much so that our customers not only want to rent, but also want to buy our bikes.
